7th March 2016
It was a beautiful but cold day which started off with a reasonable layer of snow. However the snow was gone in time for my lunchtime wander around town, much to my disappointment as I was hoping for a snowy picture for today, but I can't really complain as we had blue skies with white puffy clouds.
As I walked along I saw that the Central Library, Saint Marks and His Majesty's Theatre were lit up in the midday sun. These buildings are a few of the city's beautiful grand granite buildings that shine silver in the sunlight. Giving the city it's 'Granite City' or 'Silver City' nicknames.
